Christine Cheung is a painter, and a graduate from the Masters of Fine Arts program at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Born and raised in Calgary, she is a recipient of the Joseph Beuys Scholarship. Her work has been exhibited in Toronto, Calgary, and Halifax and is a part of the emerging artist collection at the Alberta Foundation for the Arts. After completing a one month residency at Compeung Village, she recently had her first international exhibition in Thailand. Ms. Cheung’s exhibition: “Neither Here Nor There” opens May 2, 2008 at the Landymore Keith Gallery in Toronto. |
