Vancouver, British Columbia Gina Lin is a Taiwanese-Canadian composer and guitarist who grew up in Toronto. She recently moved to Vancouver, BC where the mountains are breath-taking and it rains liquid sunshine. As a musician, she grew up singing simple tunes in downtown Toronto’s cafés and stretched into the community with more songs, languages, instruments to play bigger shows and fundraisers (including the Taiwan festival 2007 at Toronto Harbourfront). Her debut CD, “Julienne”, features French lullabies. Gina's second CD, “The Mighty Bicycle” features songs in French, English, and Mandarin and include several numbers accompanied by violinist, Peyton Leung. |
