Knesha was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. With the aspirations of becoming a filmmaker, she headed across the nation to study film production at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. During that time, she crewed on a number of student and independent films which not only served to rejuvenate her passion for filmmaking but helped Knesha to learn several tricks of the trade. Her graduation film, Spring Water, was showcased in Montreal at the Festival des Films du Monde. Ms. Yu currently resides in Vancouver B.C. where she continues to create and work in the industry. |
