Synopsis

This is a witty but volatile family drama about the cultural misunderstandings within cross-cultural adoption.

Hanjoo and Serenity are both adoptee from Korea. Unfortunately, their white mother’s desire for maternal connection and zeal for Asian culture causes her to treat them like life-sized Oriental dolls. Although the mother is misguided in her efforts, her unconditional love for the girls is extremely touching and succeeds in winning the hearts of both her rebellious daughter and the audience.
