Rice Junkie Collective began as a series of late night jam sessions with six friends.

With roots in Soul. Funk, Rock, Acid Jazz, House and Classical music, these musicians soon found a new home to fuse their talents into a diverse ‘one’. These sessions soon flourished leading to groundbreaking public performances and inspiring collaborations with other artists.
As part of the collective, each member took on a ‘rice’ name and ‘animated’ character to differentiate their solo achievements and celebrate their progression into the collective force.
